John Kerry: US-Indonesia Could Be Example of Democracy for the World

 
Jakarta - Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United States (USA) John Kerry congratulated the president and vice president elected Jokowi-JK. The United States hopes the election of Jokowi-JK can enhance US-Indonesia cooperation relationship.

"The United States hopes to cooperate with the president-elect Joko Widodo to increase our partnerships, promoting the ideals of our shared global, as well as developing relationships between people of both countries," John Kerry said in a release from the United States Embassy in Indonesia, Wednesday (23/7 / 2014).

According to Kerry, as the country's second and third largest democracies, the United States and Indonesia has set an example to the world. United States and Indonesia share many common values​​, including respect for human rights and the rule of law.
